Job summary

Rea, a growing Top 100 business advisory and accounting firm, seeks a Tax Senior Manager in the United States. You will advise clients on tax implications, manage complex issues, and lead teams across compliance, research, and consulting.

You will also participate in marketing, networking, and business development while maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a CPA, Attorney, or EA, 8+ years of experience, and advanced proficiency with MS Office and tax software.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of prior experience.
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively delegate work as needed.
• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills.
• Capacity to work well in a team environment.
• Capable of developing and managing a team of tax professionals.
• Ability to compose written tax advice.
• Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on tax implications and options to minimize tax burden and compliance costs.
• Acting as primary client contact for complex tax issues and coordinating with specialists.
• Leading Tax Compliance, Research, ASC 740-10, Tax Consulting, Tax Specialization, and Strategy Development efforts.
• Supervising associates and senior associates on projects; providing feedback and training.
