Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager for a fully remote opportunity. The role leads complex tax engagements, delivers strategic tax planning, and mentors staff across diverse clients.

You will collaborate with firm leadership to enhance service quality while maintaining work-life balance in a boutique public accounting setting. The ideal candidate has a CPA license, 10+ years of public accounting tax experience, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of recent public accounting experience focused on tax compliance and planning.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRC, and multi-state taxation.
• Experience leading complex tax engagements and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and other entity types.
• Lead tax planning, consulting, and entity structuring engagements for a diverse client base.
• Provide proactive guidance and technical expertise on complex tax matters.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
• Mentor, coach, and review the work of tax professionals while supporting their development.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to improve processes, workflows, and client service initiatives.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and communicate changes to clients and internal teams.
