Res Consultant Group / Recruiting Edge Staffing seeks a Tax Manager who prioritizes strategic advisory over compliance and can lead high-impact conversations with entrepreneurs and real estate investors in a fully remote setting.

You will guide planning, structuring, and depreciation strategies, mentor staff, and help scale advisory services while working without timesheets. Active CPA/EA/JD/LLM required with 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience with advisory focus.
• Active CPA, EA, JD, or LLM in Tax REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of business taxation and pass-through entities.
• Ability to translate complex tax laws into actionable business advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax planning kickoff calls and quarterly advisory meetings.
• Review financials to identify planning opportunities and advise on structuring.
• Prepare or review complex returns reflecting strategic planning.
• Help scale the firm's advisory offerings and raise technical standards.
• Mentor team members and foster professional growth.
