Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or law.
• Experience in the private client service area.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience working in public accounting is preferred.
• CPA/EA/Attorney credential or equivalent required.
• Possession of other professional degrees or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements; identifies client needs, tax planning, and consulting opportunities.
• Provides executive presence and acts as primary client contact for issues and resolutions.
• Reviews complex returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corps, foundations, partnerships, and gifts.
• Directs communication with government agencies on highly complex matters.
• Identifies technical issues and conducts advanced tax research with sound recommendations.
• Prioritizes and reviews work to keep engagements on track; mentors staff.
