Job summary

BDO seeks a Tax Senior Manager, Private Client Services (PCS) to lead high‑net‑worth client engagements in Milwaukee. You will oversee complex tax planning, compliance, and consulting, with a focus on estates, gifts, foundations, and executive compensation.

You will manage client relationships, supervise staff, and contribute to firm growth while staying current on tax developments and technology. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field with CPA or equivalent.
• 7+ years in accounting/finance with private client experience.
• Experience supervising staff and leading engagements.
• CPA/EA/attorney or equivalent designation required.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements and identify client needs and opportunities.
• Serve as primary client contact for issues and resolutions.
• Review complex returns including trust/estate/S‑Corp/partnership/gift tax.
• Communicate with government agencies on complex matters.
• Lead research and provide sound recommendations to leadership, clients, and advisors.
• Develop client relationships and oversee engagement progression.
• Support PCS/firm contributions including billing and training.
• Mentor associates and seniors; manage workload and performance feedback.
