Job summary

BDO's Private Client Services in Milwaukee seeks a Tax Senior to deliver tax compliance and consulting for high net-worth individuals and families. You will prepare and review complex returns, supervise staff, and work with clients and their advisors to gather information for tax filings.

Ideal candidates bring CPA or EA qualifications, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in tax software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics required; or CPA with other degree
• Master's degree in Accountancy or Taxation preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs
• Prepares complex tax returns including individual, trust, estate, S-Corp, foundation, partnership, and gift taxes Federal and State
• Reviews basic returns and provides feedback to staff and interns
• Researches tax issues and develops recommendations for PCS leadership
• Works in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and collaborates with teams
• Supervises PCS Associates and mentors staff as needed
