Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for Private Client Services in the US. The role focuses on high net worth clients, providing tax compliance, planning, and consulting across personal income, estate, gift taxes, and ownership structures of client entities.

Candidate must have extensive public accounting experience, CPA or licensed attorney status, and strong leadership and client-relations skills. The position emphasizes supervision of staff and driving business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Master’s in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
• Additon Juris Doctorate (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews basic to complex individual and other tax returns.
• Identifies and performs research when needed and reports findings.
• Interacts directly with clients and their advisors.
• Assists with billing and cash collection activities, recruiting, and training.
• Manages client engagements and reviews team work.
• Identifies tax planning opportunities and cross-service opportunities.
• Leads development and mentoring of staff.
