Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The role oversees multiple engagements, leads client relationships, and supports business development, with flexibility on location and an option for full remote work.

The ideal candidate has CPA or EA certification, extensive tax experience, and a background in public accounting. Manage budgets, mentor staff, and implement process improvements for high-net-worth clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specialization in complex technical individual and business returns.
• Recent Public Accounting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, foster client relationships, and collaborate with Partners while maintaining visibility into engagement status, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, ensuring timely delivery of federal, state, and local returns.
• Possess knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment and understanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns for technical accuracy and proper documentation.
• Serve as a primary client contact, delivering proactive tax planning insights and supporting client meetings.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; identify margin risks and implement improvements.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and internal teams while promoting accountability across the engagement team.
• Provide coaching and training to staff; support recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to enhance efficiency and scalability of service delivery.
• Actively participate in business development, including identifying opportunities and expanding client relationships.
• Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm to ensure high-quality service.
