Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Senior with Big 4 and complex passthrough experience to join our Sacramento, CA team. You will manage multiple tax engagements, review partnership and S-Corp returns, conduct research with CCH, and provide proactive tax planning for high-net-worth clients.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of public accounting tax experience, CPA or on track, and a Master's in Accounting/Taxation. We offer a fully remote role with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• CPA license or on the path towards obtaining a license.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Extensive experience with complex passthrough entities and owners.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to manage multiple engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; articulate complex tax matters clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements, ensuring delivery of quality tax solutions for our clients.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corporations and their owners.
• Utilize CCH to research and consult on various tax matters; respond to IRS inquiries when requested.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
