Job summary

Jobot in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Tax Senior with Big 4 and complex flowthrough experience. This role offers a salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year and a fully remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities include managing complex tax engagements for partnerships and S-Corps, researching tax matters with CCH, and providing proactive tax planning for high-net-worth clients. CPA is preferred; Master's in Taxation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• CPA license or on the path toward licensure.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency in CCH or other tax software.
• Extensive experience with complex passthrough entities and high-net-worth owners.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax professionals.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements; ensure delivery of quality tax solutions to clients.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corps and owners.
• Research and consult on tax matters using CCH; respond to IRS inquiries when requested.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
