Job summary

Jobot, a respected advisory firm in Sacramento, seeks a Tax Senior to lead complex tax engagements for a diverse client base. You will review partnerships and S‑Corp returns, research issues with CCH, and deliver proactive planning with a client‑focused approach.

Requirements include at least 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting, a CPA license or progress toward it, and a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting.
• CPA license or on the path toward licensing.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Proficiency with CCH or similar tax software.
• Experience with complex passthrough entities and high net worth owners.
• Strong communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and complex tax engagements and deliver quality tax solutions.
• Review federal and state returns for partnerships and S-Corps and owners.
• Research and consult on tax matters using CCH; respond to inquiries.
• Provide proactive tax planning tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards.
