Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Manager in Beverly Hills, CA to lead engagements focusing on pass-through entities, partnerships, S-Corps, and multi-state LLCs for HNWI clients. You will own client relationships, guide engagements end-to-end, and mentor staff and seniors to develop their skills.

The role emphasizes hands-on project leadership, staff development, and delivering high-quality tax services with cross-state complexity and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years public accounting with exposure to pass-through entities and closely held businesses.
• Experience supervising staff and seniors.
• Strong project management skills to run multiple engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• ProSystem fx Tax and Knowledge Coach experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and multi-state tax returns for pass-through entities, closely held businesses, C-Corps, and individuals.
• Manage multiple client engagements, owning timelines and deliverables.
• Draft financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact and proactively add client value.
• Keep partners informed of key developments and propose solutions.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training to staff and seniors.
• Contribute to recruiting and staff development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and requirements.
• Independently research and apply accounting standards as needed.
