Job summary

EDB is hiring a Senior Technical Account Manager for the EMEA region. The Senior TAM will build and maintain post-sales relationships with large customers, serving as a trusted technical advisor to drive outcomes and referenceability for Postgres and AI solutions.

The role requires deep DB experience across Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server, with cloud and data analytics familiarity. Travel up to 25% is expected, and strong communication with senior leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server; certifications in relational databases desirable.
• Advanced technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture.
• Knowledgeable about data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical and project-management abilities.
• Good understanding of enterprise database environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusted advisor relationship with senior technical leadership.
• Help customers maximize value of Postgres investments.
• Assist in developing and deploying Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (architecture guidance, solutions consulting, project management).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EDB product lines.
• Provide product feedback to management based on customer needs.
