Job summary

NOV is seeking a mid-level recruiter in Houston to lead full-cycle searches from intake through offer and onboarding. You will partner with hiring leaders across executive, IT, HR, Finance, and Legal to build talent pipelines and guide compensation discussions.

You will advise managers on talent markets, perform proactive outreach to passive candidates, and provide weekly search updates while representing NOV at fairs and university events. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Corporate full-cycle recruiting experience required.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and build relationships.
• Experience with recruiting tools and ATS.
• Experience with senior leadership searches and hiring metrics.

In this role, you’ll:

• Manage multiple searches and build pipelines, including through proactive outreach to passive candidates.
• Advise hiring managers on talent markets, compensation, and selection plans.
• Keep candidates and hiring teams informed throughout the process, with weekly search updates.
• Use recruiting AI tools thoughtfully, reviewing results for accuracy, relevance, and potential bias.
• Represent the company at job fairs, university events, and military recruiting events. Travel is required.
