Job summary

Forward Air Corp. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for Operations to lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions.

This on-site role partners with hiring managers, HR leaders and business partners to deliver top talent for Operations leadership roles. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in internal TA or agency settings, proven success in VP+ level searches, and strong sourcing, interviewing and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, marketing or related field required.
• 7+ years in internal TA or agency setting preferred.
• Experience leading VP+ level searches.
• Global/Americas-focused recruiting experience preferred.
• Proficient with major recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Handshake).

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment including postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and preboarding.
• Publish postings in ATS and on leading boards to attract applicants.
• Proactively source passive candidates and build pipelines.
• Conduct structured interviews and assess leadership potential and cultural fit.
• Maintain high-quality candidate experience and strong stakeholder relationships.
