Job summary

OpenLoop is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner Lead to own full-cycle recruiting for AI/ML and senior Engineering roles, working remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. Reporting to our Senior Manager, R&D Recruitment, you’ll lead sourcing, assessment, and closing with a focus on technical talent.

You’ll partner with technical leaders to map markets, craft targeted strategies, and coach fellow recruiters. This senior IC role emphasizes collaboration, results, and a strong candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle recruiting within a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
• Experience recruiting AI/ML and senior engineering talent.
• Strong sourcing and talent-mapping skills using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, market research, and other tools.
• Proven track record closing senior or hard-to-fill technical candidates, including navigating offers and equity discussions.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with technical leaders and advise on role requirements and interview approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for AI/ML and senior engineering roles from intake to offer negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with technical hiring managers to define role requirements, scope, and recruiting strategies.
• Build talent maps and actively engage passive candidates using market research and creative sourcing.
• Stay current on AI/ML talent trends and translate insights into actionable sourcing and closing strategies.
• Conduct recruiter screens to assess technical experience and tailor interview approaches by seniority.
• Advise on market trends and compensation expectations, collaborating on offer strategy.
• Guide candidates through compensation and equity discussions, explaining OpenLoop packages.
• Maintain a strong candidate experience with transparent communication throughout the process.
• Share recruiting best practices and coach other recruiters while managing your portfolio.
