Job summary

OpenLoop is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner Lead to own full-cycle recruiting for AI/ML and senior Engineering roles, working remotely or from our HQ in Des Moines, IA. Reporting to the Senior Manager, R&D Recruitment, you’ll lead sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies while guiding the team through complex negotiations.

You’ll partner with technical leaders, map talent markets, and build pipelines, closing top talent and shaping compensation discussions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading full-cycle recruiting for technical roles in a fast-growing tech environment.
• Ability to assess seniority and scope beyond titles and keywords.
• Proven track record closing senior or hard-to-fill technical candidates.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for AI/ML and senior Engineering roles from intake to offer negotiation.
• Define role requirements with technical hiring managers and calibrate level/scope.
• Build talent maps and engage passive candidates using market research and sourcing.
• Stay current on AI/ML talent trends and translate into sourcing/closing strategies.
• Coach junior recruiters and share market insights to strengthen the team.
• Manage candidate experience with transparent, timely communication.
