Job summary

tmp is seeking an Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to own the Talent Acquisition pillar within the global People team. You will lead both strategy and day-to-day recruitment, managing the full lifecycle from brief to onboarding for a diverse range of roles across the agency.

You will partner with hiring managers and the broader People team to deliver a high-quality candidate experience, build strong pipelines, and drive onboarding effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve tmp’s Talent Acquisition strategy in line with our business priorities, People strategy and future capability needs
• Partner with senior leaders to translate goals into thoughtful hiring strategies
• Bring commercial judgement to hiring decisions considering role scope, location, timing and talent availability
• Act as trusted advisor on external talent market with insights on candidates and trends
• Challenge assumptions and help leaders make informed decisions about talent needs now and next
• Build recruitment priorities across the agency to maximize business impact
• Own and manage a portfolio of active roles across tmp at varying levels and disciplines
• Lead full recruitment lifecycle from intake to references
• Build strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and referrals
• Provide market feedback, maintain momentum, and adapt approaches as needed
• Create a candidate experience that is responsive, human and authentic
• Drive searches forward with clarity and urgency
• Own onboarding as the final phase of recruitment
• Improve onboarding framework so new hires start with context and connection
• Ensure new hires understand how tmp works and how they contribute
• Maintain touchpoints through early employment and collect feedback
• Collaborate with People Operations to ensure smooth transitions
• Stay connected to external talent landscape and bring market intelligence back
• Build proactive talent pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-hire capabilities
• Shape how tmp appears in talent market and reflect our employer brand
• Partner with Marketing to strengthen employer brand and attract aligned talent
• Develop meaningful talent communities beyond vacancies
• Lead initiatives like referrals and internships to support longer-term strategy
• Continuously improve recruitment processes to be more effective and scalable
• Own and optimize ATS and recruitment tools
• Explore AI and automation to reduce low-value tasks and increase human judgment
• Create recruitment reporting for leadership visibility
• Use data and market insight to evolve approach
• Maintain recruitment governance, documentation and compliance
