Job summary

Valmark Financial Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our full-cycle recruiting strategy and execution. The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, candidate quality, speed, and strong collaboration with hiring managers to drive timely decisions.

Approximately 75-80% of the role focuses on proactive recruiting and Valmark RightFit searches, with 20-25% on additional HR responsibilities including performance management, training, and other talent initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
Five to seven years of talent acquisition experience with full-cycle recruiting.
Proven success proactively sourcing passive candidates and filling difficult roles.
Strong interviewing, relationship-building, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
Experience using applicant tracking systems to maintain candidate records and pipeline visibility.

Responsibilities

Lead proactive, full-cycle recruiting for Valmark and support Valmark RightFit searches from strategy to close.
Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to engage active and passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles.
Understand position requirements and partner with hiring managers to plan recruiting strategies and maintain urgency.
Drive recruiting activity with follow-up, clear recommendations, and timely decisions.
Maintain accurate candidate data and pipeline visibility in Crelate for stakeholders.
