Job summary

Universal Background Screening in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Recruiter to build our talent acquisition function from the ground up and personally source and close high-quality hires. This is not a typical posting role; you will create process, systems, and standards from ambiguity and lead hiring as an early-stage company grows.

You will wear both builder and doer hats, own full-cycle recruiting, implement an ATS and interview framework, and partner with leadership on org design and hiring

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience across multiple roles.
• Experience building or maturing recruiting function at early-stage or fast-growing company.
• Strong sourcing of passive candidates and closing offers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own full-cycle recruiting for priority roles.
• Define hiring process, scorecards, and interview framework.
• Source passive candidates and manage relationships with hiring managers.
• Partner with leadership on org design and hiring plans.
• Establish time-to-fill metrics and reporting.
