Job summary
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Systems Studies Engineer III to independently perform and lead powerhouse studies in electromagnetic transients, load flow, short-circuit, and stability analysis.
You will utilize PSLF, PSS/E, DigSILENT, and other tools, while leading projects and mentoring others across T&D domains. The role requires an engineering degree and 5+ years in power systems studies or related fields, with extensive experience in modeling, data analysis,
Qualifications
- Requires engineering degree (BSEE, MS/ME or PhD) with emphasis on electric power engineering and 5+ years in power systems studies.
- Advanced knowledge of electric power systems and equipment operation/control.
Responsibilities
- Lead and independently perform load flow, transient stability, short-circuit and related studies.
- Lead data analysis, model development, and reporting for transmission projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets.
- Train others and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external customers.
- Support business opportunities and proposals with technical inputs.
