Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Systems Studies Engineer III to independently perform and lead power system engineering studies in electromagnetic transients, load flow, and short-circuit areas.

You will provide team leadership, develop trusted relationships, and apply knowledge across T&D applications. Senior duties include using PSLF, PSS/E, DigSILENT, MATLAB, and other tools to advance grid modernization, data analysis, and reporting while mentoring others and

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on power engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in power systems studies or utility planning.
• Strong knowledge of power system operation and control.
• Ability to lead projects and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct load flow, short-circuit, stability studies using PSLF/PS E/DigSILENT.
• Lead insulation coordination, harmonic and grounding studies for T&D equipment.
• Study renewable resources, DERs, batteries, and grid modernization tools.
• Manage projects: goals, budget, schedule, resources, reports.
• Develop data for studies; use data mining and visualization to present results.
• Enhance models with C, C++, MATLAB, Python; build automation tools.
• Improve efficiency; train others on software tools.
• Support business opportunities and proposals with customers.
