Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Security Engineer (SSE) – P4 in McKinney, Texas, to lead security efforts for embedded systems and anti-tamper programs. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, DoD program experience, and the ability to work onsite with travel up to 25%.

You will perform CPI analysis, SSE requirements generation, and trade studies, while developing security solutions and leading program deliverables. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity and/or Software Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform CPI analysis.
• Generate SSE requirements and analyses.
• Conduct SSE trade-studies and provide path forward recommendations.
• Create and maintain systems engineering models and artifacts (functional block, sequence, activity diagrams).
• Develop the program Anti-Tamper Plan.
• Develop and execute Verification and Validation plans and procedures.
• Present at internal and external reviews and milestones.
• Report tasking status to leadership and customers.
• Travel up to 25% as necessary.
