Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Security Engineer II - P2 in McKinney, TX for their SSE team. The role focuses on developing holistic security solutions for embedded systems, cybersecurity, and supply chain risk management to protect Warfighter technology advantage.

The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance. It is an onsite role with relocation assistance available and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, cybersecurity or embedded security

Responsibilities

• Support SSE solutions into RTX products.
• Define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts and effectiveness.
• Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems.
• Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements, and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
