Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Security Engineer (SSE) - P4 for the SSE Sensors, Space, & Air department in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity to ensure secure products are delivered to end-users.

You will lead projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance. The position requires independent work, strong communication with leadership, and hands-on experience across security architectures, requirements, and DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required before start date.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in SSE/embedded security.
• Experience in Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, or Software Assurance.
• Proven experience in real-time embedded security solutions on DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform CPI analysis and SSE requirements generation.
• Develop Anti-Tamper plans and V&V procedures.
• Lead and brief internal/external reviews and milestones.
• Travel up to 25% as necessary.
