Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer (SSE) to join the SSE Sensors, Space, & Air department. The role focuses on Anti-Tamper and embedded cybersecurity, delivering secure products to the end-user.

The candidate will lead technical efforts, coordinate with leadership, and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance while working onsite in McKinney, TX. The position requires 5+ years of related experience, a STEM degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Active, transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
• Experience in Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, Software Assurance.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive technical experience in Systems/Software Engineering.
• Experience with real-time embedded security for DoD programs and secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform SSE requirements generation, derivation, and analysis.
• Develop Anti-Tamper plans and V&V plans.
• Create and review systems engineering artifacts (diagrams, models).
• Lead program communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
