Job summary
RTX seeks a Senior System Engineer to lead requirements and specification efforts for Naval sensor systems and ship integration in Portsmouth, RI. You will define and maintain system requirements, ensure traceability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant solutions.

Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on MBSE methodologies and practices preferred.
- Experience with system software, hardware, requirements and testing.
- Experience with underwater acoustics analysis, sensor systems, and naval development.
- Ability to write and present technical material clearly.
Responsibilities
- Define, manage, and validate system requirements across the engineering lifecycle.
- Review technical work products for completeness and compliance with standards.
- Contribute to process improvements in requirements and system performance.
- Align architecture, integration, verification, and deployment with traceable requirements.
- Collaborate across disciplines to resolve issues and maintain traceability.
- Travel domestically up to 15% for meetings and events.
