Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements to drive MBSE with Cameo in a rapid‑development environment, focused on missiles, launchers, and gunner training equipment.

You will create and manage system architectures, requirements, interfaces, and verification documents, lead technical discussions with SMEs, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee formal release of CDRLs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo for requirements decomposition and verification.
• Experience leading architecture definitions and system-of-systems decomposition using Cameo.
• Experience across three or more areas of the Systems-V model.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage systems architecture and requirements using Cameo.
• Collaborate with IPTLs and SMEs to obtain design information.
• Coordinate with suppliers and REA for test activities and reports.
• Lead reviews and release of CDRLs and Technical Data Packages.
• Provide SE expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting, and failure investigations.
• Support factory SPC assessments and hardware verification.
