Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Systems Reliability Engineer to provide technical leadership across electrical hardware, embedded firmware, software, and connected technologies.

You will drive reliability targets, lead DFMEA and risk assessments, and partner with Electrical, Firmware, Software, and Service teams to ensure robust system performance throughout development and lifecycle. The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, test planning, Weibull analyses, and design improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product development, systems engineering, electrical engineering, embedded systems, reliability engineering, or system validation.
• Experience applying reliability principles to complex electromechanical and/or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware architectures and hardware-firmware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional reliability efforts for new platform reference designs and engineering changes.
• Develop risk-based system verification and validation strategies spanning interfaces, products, and systems.
• Lead system-level root-cause investigations and FRACA activities.
• Translate warranty learnings into design requirements and reliability models, test methods, and future product improvements.
