Techtronic Industries in Wisconsin seeks a Sr. Systems Reliability Engineer to provide technical leadership across electrical hardware, embedded firmware, software and connected technologies.

You’ll lead reliability strategies across platform architectures, collaborating with Electrical, Firmware, Software, Systems, Test, Quality, Product and Service teams to validate interfaces, failure modes, and reliability targets throughout the lifecycle.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems, or related).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in product development, systems engineering, electrical engineering, embedded systems, reliability engineering, or system validation.
• Experience applying reliability principles to complex electromechanical and/or embedded systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, datasheets, and system architecture diagrams.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware architectures and hardware–firmware interfaces.
• Experience leading technical risk assessments including DFMEA.
• Experience developing and executing system verification and validation.
• Experience with Design of Experiments, life-data analysis, Weibull analysis, and related techniques.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~10%.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.

Mansioni

• Lead cross-functional reliability efforts for new platform reference designs and engineering changes.
• Translate user requirements, field performance, and warranty insights into reliability requirements and design improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product/Marketing to establish CTQ targets for reliability.
• Evaluate interfaces to identify integration and system-level reliability risks.
• Lead system and design risk assessments including DFMEA and fault propagation analyses.
• Support Advanced Engineering activities targeting high-risk technologies.
• Communicate progress, barriers, and escalations to stakeholders.
• Lead FRACA activities and ensure corrective actions address root causes.
• Translate field learnings into design requirements and improvements.
• Develop risk-based system verification and validation strategies.
• Analyze test and field data using Weibull and life-data techniques.
