Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer - Systems, Reliability and Test to advance power tool product testing, reliability and qualification efforts.

You will own design validation activities, collaborate with design and marketing teams, and guide cross-functional teams through rigorous testing programs. The role requires strong data analytics, experience with reliability methods, and the ability to mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and sound statistical application in reliability and testing
• Experience with life data analysis and reliability distributions is a plus
• Experience in test development, verification and data collection

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert with respect to product testing, reliability, requirements management and warranty analysis for new product designs and changes
• Collaborate with design engineers and marketing to define product specifications for life, durability, quality, and user needs
• Develop and execute reliability, design, and validation assessments for successful product introductions based on data-driven evidence
• Ensure completion of qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers in technical development
