Job summary

BEPC Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Support Engineer for its Pleasanton, CA site. You will install, qualify, maintain, and repair instruments and software with emphasis on networking infrastructure supporting these systems.

You will troubleshoot hardware/software and network connectivity, map IP addresses, configure Fortigate devices, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable instrument performance at Pleasanton and Santa Clara campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience servicing medical/lab equipment and/or supporting networked systems in an R&D, hospital, or clinical laboratory setting.
• Experience with networking fundamentals including IP addressing/subnetting, VLANs, switches, routers, firewalls.
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting Fortigate or similar firewall appliances.

Responsibilities

• Install, deinstall, and relocate instruments and computer control units.
• Perform preventative maintenance and qualification activities.
• Troubleshoot instruments and network connectivity; repair, replace parts as needed.
• Establish and manage network connections for remote instrument access.
