Job summary

RTX in Tucson, Arizona seeks a Senior Engineer in the SETC Center to perform hardware/software integration, verification, flight test, and platform integration. You will be hands-on with hardware buildups and data analysis to ensure test events meet specifications.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing tests from circuit card assemblies to final products, coordinating with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors, and leading a small integration team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems integration and test in a lab or field.
• Ability to obtain ATF clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and testing of Effector systems to ensure the system under test meets specifications.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and documentation in simulated and real environments; execute tests.
• Plan and execute tests from Circuit Card Assemblies to final product; assess EMI, RF, thermal, vibration tests.
• Plan and execute Platform Integration and Flight Test missions with customer subsystems and launch platforms.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging; support failure reporting.
• Collect and analyze data to ensure performance and generate detailed reports.
• Create/modify documentation for Test Readiness Review, Consent to Ship, and Test Data Review.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors; lead a small team in integration and test activities.
