Job summary

RTX is seeking Senior Engineers for the SETC Center in Tucson to lead hardware/software integration, verification, and testing across multiple platforms. You will support hardware build-ups, verification testing, and data analysis to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role requires hands-on work, collaboration with customers and suppliers, and occasional travel to test sites. A clear path to leadership in integration and test is provided.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems integration and test in a lab or field environment
• Planning or executing Platform Integration or Flight Test Missions
• Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and solve technical issues
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and testing of Effector systems to ensure the system under test meets specifications and requirements
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation
• Support testing activities across hardware builds, including EMI, live battery, RF, and environmental tests
• Plan and execute platform integration with customer subsystems and launch platforms
• Plan and execute test missions, ensure safety, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with customers
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging
• Collect and analyze data and provide detailed reports of results
• Create/modify documentation for reviews such as TRR, CTS, and TDR packages
• Collaborate across company functions, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Lead a small team in integration and test activities
• Support occasional travel to test sites and customer locations
