Job summary

RTX's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Center in Tucson is seeking Senior Engineers to focus on hardware/software integration, verification, and flight test. You will be hands-on with hardware build-ups, integration, test planning, and data analysis.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience and the ability to obtain an interim DoD clearance. Occasional travel and collaboration with customers and suppliers are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems integration and test in lab or field environments.
• Planning or executing Platform Integration or Flight Test Missions.
• Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and solve technical issues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and testing of Effector systems to ensure performance per specifications.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and documentation for simulated and real-world environments.
• Lead or support hardware buildup, integration, and testing activities.
• Plan and execute tests across multiple hardware build levels, including Elec/EMI, RF, and environmental tests.
• Coordinate platform integration with customer subsystems and launch platforms.
