Job summary

RTX is seeking Senior Engineers to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Center in Tucson, AZ. You’ll focus on hardware/software integration, verification, flight test, and platform integration, supporting test events from design to data analysis.

You will work hands-on with test assets, develop plans and procedures, collaborate with customers and suppliers, and potentially travel up to 25% of the year to test sites and facilities. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD security clearance (Secret) and US citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in Science or closely related field.
• Experience with hardware/software integration and test environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and testing of Effector systems to ensure performance according to specifications.
• Develop and implement test plans and procedures for simulated and real environments.
• Build and integrate test assets, document build, and certify readiness for next stage.
• Plan and execute hardware tests from circuit card assemblies to final product, including EMI, live battery, RF, electrical operation, weight, thermal, and vibration tests.
• Coordinate platform integration with customer subsystems and launch platforms in lab or field.
• Plan and execute flight test missions with robust planning, logistics, safety, security, telemetry, and coordination with customers and ranges.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues; perform data analysis and report findings.
• Document and communicate test results for TRR, CTS, and TDR packages.
• Lead a small team in integration and test activities; travel up to 25% as needed.
