Job summary

RTX seeks Senior Engineer in the SETC Center (Tucson) to lead hardware/software integration, verification and testing of complex Effector systems. You will develop and execute test plans in lab and field environments, perform data analysis, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure mission success.

You will guide a small team through integration activities, manage test readiness, and contribute to documentation for TRR, CTS, and TDR packages. Occasional travel for testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in systems integration and test in lab or field environments.
• Ability to plan and execute platform integration or flight test missions; diagnose issues with data.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification and testing of Effector systems per specifications.
• Lead a small team in integration and test activities.
• Plan and execute tests from circuit cards to final product, including EMI, RF, battery, thermal, and vibration tests.
• Coordinate platform integration with customer subsystems and launch platforms.
• Conduct flight tests with robust planning, safety, and telemetry monitoring.
• Analyze data to ensure performance and prepare detailed reports.
