Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA seeks a System Integration and Test Engineer (SMTS) to lead I&T activities from concept through system certification.

You will plan, execute, and manage tests, perform verification and validation, and drive testability and traceability across multidisciplinary teams. The role requires 5–7 years of Systems Engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field, with eligibility or possession of a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Requires 5–7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Preference for EE, HWIL, avionics, optical test, and inertial sensor test skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assignments and guide others; lead tasks with priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Derive plans and procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle.
• Contribute high-quality content for technical reports and presentations for varied audiences.
• Present technical information confidently in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide constructive feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
