The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, MA seeks a System Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer (SMTS) to lead I&T activities from concept through certification. Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related role.
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with multi-disciplinary teams and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to balance multiple competing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assignments and guide others; lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Develop plans and procedures for solving I&T problems across a program lifecycle.
• Produce high-quality technical reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Present technical information confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies; implement them.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and give constructive feedback.
