Job summary

Draper is seeking an Electrical Integration and Test Engineer (SMTS) to serve as the system integrator for Draper’s technologies and product lines in Cambridge, MA. You will plan, execute, and manage I&T activities from concept to certification, driving V&V and test strategies in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Requires 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Preference for EE, HWIL, avionics, optical test, and inertial sensor test skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Own assignments and guide others as needed; lead tasks with priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Derive plans and procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle.
• Independently contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations.
• Demonstrate confidence presenting technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide constructive feedback.
