Job summary

Draper is seeking a System Integration and Test Engineer I in Cambridge, MA to plan, execute, and manage I&T activities from concept to system certification. You will integrate hardware and software, perform V&V, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to promote testability and reliability.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 0–3 years of experience; a security clearance is required with Top Secret preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 0–3 years of Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, and/or Python.
• Experience integrating hardware and software components of complex secure systems.
• Familiarity with commercial electronic test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators).

Responsibilities

• Ability to independently complete assignments by applying technical knowledge to defined problems with minimal oversight.
• Contribute content for technical reports and presentations with appropriate guidance.
• Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
• Identify challenges associated with assigned work and communicate them to project leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
