Draper, an independent nonprofit R&D company in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a System Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer to lead test concepts through system certification. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to ensure verifiable, traceable requirements and robust system performance.

The role emphasizes ownership, mentoring junior engineers, and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. A Secret clearance is preferred; base salary ranges from $82,300 to $220,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Current Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assignments and guide others; lead tasks with priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Derive plans and procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle.
• Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations.
• Demonstrate confidence presenting technical information to stakeholders.
• Identify program/system-level risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide constructive feedback.
