Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Test Equipment Development Engineer to lead full lifecycle development of complex electrical, mechanical, and software-based test equipment within multidisciplinary teams.

You will serve as a lead system integrator, drive requirements, architectures, and designs to promote testability, and mentor junior engineers while supporting government security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• Requires 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
• Applicants selected will need to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead tasks and guide others while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Develop plans and procedures for solving I&T problems across a program lifecycle.
• Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations.
• Present technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
