Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA, seeks an experienced System Integration and Test Engineer (SMTS) to lead I&T activities from concept to certification. You will coordinate functional simulations, subsystem/system integration and V&V, ensuring verifiable requirements and robust designs.

Requires 5–7 years in Systems Engineering or related role, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. US base salary range listed; security clearance is desirable.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years in Systems Engineering or related role.
• Experience interfacing with environmental test equipment and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead assignments and manage priorities, scope, cost and schedule.
• Develop plans and procedures for solving I&T problems across programs.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Present technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide feedback.
