Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia. You will design, integrate, and sustain server/compute platforms, working with multiple vendors to meet mission requirements.

The role requires active TS/SCI with poly, 8+ years of relevant experience, and strong hardware engineering proficiency. You will contribute to system lifecycles from development through deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or higher.
• Proven work experience designing and analyzing hardware and compute platforms.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and specifications.
• Certifications: IAT II, Security+.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain and improve server/compute platforms.
• Perform end-to-end network systems engineering with vendors.
• Identify and maintain requirements to meet mission needs; prepare BOM, BER and related docs.
• Create rack elevations and cabling designs; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Lead integration with Cisco, HP, Dell, IBM and other equipment vendors.
• Quality assurance on system procurements; ensure build standards.
