Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a DoD program from Fort Meade, MD. The role includes leading systems engineering activities, managing DoDAF-aligned requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders.

The candidate should hold a TS/SCI clearance with poly, have a strong background in systems engineering, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 20+ years of systems engineering experience; a Master's or PhD may substitute for two years.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are desired.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer.
• Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project and supervise staff.
• Manage system requirements and DoDAF-aligned architecture across programs.
• Coordinate action items from reviews and ensure engineering standards and processes are followed.
