Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Fort Meade, MD to support a government HPC program focused on planning, architecture, prototyping, and vendor collaboration. You will guide systems engineering activities across requirements elicitation, interface standards, and end-to-end flow analysis to ensure mission success.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a strong engineering background, and hands-on experience with complex hardware/software systems.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or related discipline with 15+ years of relevant systems engineering experience (or Master’s/PhD with 13+ years, or HS Diploma with 19+ years).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Experience in high performance computing or cloud transitions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for development, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
• Elicit requirements, perform analyses, and conduct system requirements reviews.
• Develop operating concepts, interface standards, and system architectures.
• Perform technical/non-technical assessment and end-to-end flow analysis.

High School Diploma or GED with 19+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
