Job summary

Peraton is seeking a System Engineer to analyze user requirements and develop CONOPS and high-level system architectures to derive comprehensive system requirements specifications. This role leads the analysis of system requirements and drives design and development activities across the lifecycle.

The System Engineer collaborates closely with users to refine and formalize requirements, evaluates alternative solutions, and conducts feasibility studies to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience on large programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and develop CONOPS and high‑level architectures.
• Lead the analysis of system requirements and drive lifecycle design & development.
• Collaborate with users to refine requirements, evaluate solutions, and inform decisions.
• Provide technical leadership across the full system lifecycle and data flow contexts.
