Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Systems Engineering Section Manager 2 in Roy, Utah. The role leads a 8–12 person SE team on SDS projects, providing mentorship and ensuring staffing aligned with program goals.

You will balance Functional Homeroom duties with technical project work, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders. A US Citizen with Secret clearance is required, plus MS&A and power systems experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance; investigation completed within 6 years.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Minimum 1 year experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A).
• Experience with power systems and system analysis tools (MATLAB, ETAP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Systems Engineering section with 8–12 ICs, mentoring and staffing on projects.
• Provide functional home room responsibilities 20% and technical work 80%.
• Coordinate with subcontracted product teams for governance and compliance.
• Develop and present technical content for internal/external stakeholders.
