Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage the SE Life Cycle Management team and take on technical responsibility for a Special Access Program.

The role involves planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost/risk management, and ensuring compliance with performance metrics while mentoring staff and coordinating training and performance development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, physics or CS.
• Experience across the Systems Engineering V lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, verification, risk management, SE reviews, configuration management, and cost accounting.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience with strong communication and supervisory duties.

Responsibilities

• Technical planning, system integration, verification and validation for total systems.
• Coordinate subordinate recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and discipline.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Conduct functional, timeline and trade studies, and interface definition studies.
• Ensure solutions meet technical, schedule and cost constraints.
